Everyone's ride is different and everyone has their own time clock. It is so important to concentrate on your journey instead of focusing on what others are doing.
Be thankful for everything in your life. Recognize the good – no matter how small. You woke up this morning and have another chance at life, you have great friends and family, and you have a roof over your head – whatever it is, be grateful.
Learn from the encounter, anguish, angst, falls, heartache, heartbreak, loss, and endings. Because when something ends, a new thing begins. Learn from the people who have come into your life and left, learn from the people who are still here, learn from your encounter – good and bad, and most of all, learn from yourself.
Trusting the timing in life is about a belief; planning and not being afraid of becoming creative when required, and knowing that there is a time and a place for everything and you are working towards it.
For several years, I compared my achievements
to those of others. Sometimes when I saw my friends do something different;
graduate from college, use a good phone, work in a better place - even the ones
I never knew living a fake life - I would feel horrible about myself.
So many times, I stress myself out because other people I know are
in relationships, some are getting married, enjoying life, doing all they want
already and all this makes me feel like God's not standing beside me or hearing
my prayer.
As I have been growing and my mindset is changing, I have realized
that I need to trust my timing.
I spent a lot of last year focusing too much energy on making
plans, worrying about my future, and stressing over expectations of how things
should turn out. It’s not easy to surrender that control but as soon as I
learned to just trust that everything would fall into place when it was meant
to, relief flooded over me. When you learn to just live day by day, moment by
moment, any anxiety over the unknown and worries about the future simply
disappear.
Trust that where you are at in your life at the moment is the right thing and the thing you need most.
Don’t compare your life to others, everyone is on an individual
ride and is on a completely different path, and scrolling through your feed on
social media isn’t going to make you feel better if you think everyone is ahead
of you. Life isn’t a race, so slow down.
This is what I tell myself every day, most times when the beautiful things have planned are not falling in the right place.
Dear self you won't always set what you want when you want and
that's fine, but you will get where you need to be because your time is coming.
Sometimes life can become complicated and unpredictable but it's
important to believe. The way you look at things can change the outcome so
much without you even realizing it.
My final words
Trust in the timing of your life and let go of control. Have faith
that everything will work out exactly as it is supposed to.
You may not have what you want or be where you want to be right
now but that is okay. That’s because you're not ready for it yet. Things will
happen and fall into place exactly how they are supposed to, exactly when they
are meant to, so have faith.
Timing is key to everything and it's important to be patient and
let things happen when they are meant to happen. Don't try to force things
based on when things are happening to other people, everyone has their own
timing in life.
